Holidays are a time that always awakens in us a desire for adventure, relaxation, and discovering new places. This year, following the path along the Polish Baltic coast, we invite you to the magical oasis of relaxation, Stegna. It is a picturesque town where the sunshine meets the gentle sound of waves, creating a unique atmosphere that will easily warm your heart.

Attractions available during the season

Let's be honest. Stegna is definitely a town that thrives with life during the holiday season. Although many places are also accessible in winter, the main attractions are only available at the turn of the summer holidays. In summer, you can experience so many attractions here that taking advantage of them all during one stay becomes practically impossible.

Promenade in Stegna

The promenade in Stegna is the heart of this charming town, where vibrant life and pulsating energy meet in one place. This picturesque path, surrounded by greenery and charming cafes, is definitely worth seeing and spending some time shopping for souvenirs or enjoying local restaurants.

On this promenade, you can find many shops, boutiques, and stalls. Here, you can buy souvenirs, handicrafts, clothing, and beach accessories. Importantly, although some shops are also open in winter, most of them operate only during the summer season.

The local promenade is not only a place for shopping but also a center of entertainment and social gatherings. Evening walks among colorful shop windows and lively restaurants and cafes create an unforgettable atmosphere. An atmosphere that makes you want to come back.

Corn maze

Near the center of Stegna, there is an extraordinary attraction that delights both children and adults — a corn maze. Entering its interior, you will experience a unique journey full of mysterious paths and corners. Exploring the various parts of this natural maze is fascinating and offers excellent fun for the whole family.

The corn maze is an intellectual challenge and a perfect idea for spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature. It is also an excellent opportunity to bond with family and friends and create unforgettable memories from your holiday stay.

In July and August, the maze is open from 9 AM to 9 PM, and in September from 10 AM to 8 PM. The regular ticket costs 35 PLN, discounted tickets are 30 PLN, and children under 3 years enter for free. Group and family tickets are also available.

The above prices and hours may change. Please check the current information on the attraction's website.

Rope park

For adrenaline lovers and active leisure enthusiasts, there is no better place than the Rope Park in Stegna. Situated amidst picturesque nature, it offers exciting experiences and challenges for all visitors.

In the Rope Park, you can test your climbing skills by navigating a course suspended between tree crowns. Various difficulty levels ensure that both beginners and experienced outdoor activity lovers will find something for themselves.

Entrance fees range from 30 to 40 PLN, and the park is open during the season from 10 AM to 7 PM.

The above prices and hours may change. Please check the current information on the attraction's website.

Beach slide in Stegna

At the beach, there is another extraordinary attraction that the town is famous for, bringing joy to both the youngest and the older ones — the slide. While at the seaside, in addition to the sea breeze, it is worth also experiencing thrills. This can definitely be provided by a specially designed structure.

The beach slide is an excellent solution for children who want to spend time outdoors, enjoying carefree holidays. For parents, this may be the perfect moment to lay out a blanket on the beach and relax blissfully.

Amber Museum

The Amber Museum in Stegna is located at 64 Gdańska Street. It is a fascinating journey through millennia of history of this precious material. Situated in the heart of the town, it offers unique opportunities to learn about the secrets of amber — from its formation to contemporary uses.

Exhibitions showcase a wealth of amber artifacts, from ancient jewelry to modern works of art made from this extraordinary material. Visitors can delve into the secrets of extracting and processing this material and learn more about its cultural and commercial significance over the centuries.

The museum also provides educational programs for children and adults, craft workshops, and interactive presentations that make learning enjoyable. For history, art, and nature lovers, the amber museum is a remarkable attraction well worth seeing.

During the holiday season, the museum is open from 10 AM to 7 PM. Entrance costs 8 PLN for a regular ticket and 6 PLN for discounted tickets.

The above prices and hours may change. Please check the current information on the attraction's website.

Seal cruise near Stegna

Near Stegna, there is also Mikoszewo. In this town, you can take a seal cruise. It is a unique opportunity to feel the magic of the Baltic Sea and get closer to its fascinating ecosystem. This extraordinary attraction is not only a chance to admire nature but also an opportunity to relax and unwind at sea. Fresh air, the sound of waves, and fascinating observations make an excellent addition to any holiday adventure.

Additional attractions available during the season

In the town and its surroundings, you can enjoy many lesser-known but equally pleasant forms of leisure. Consider, among others:

  • Horse riding – there is a stable near the town offering rides for both beginners and advanced riders.
  • Kayaking trips – nothing prevents you from kayaking on the Baltic Sea. Moreover, in the vicinity, you can admire seals with their help.
  • Paddle boats – rental services operate, among others, on the shore of the Vistula Lagoon.
  • Rental of motorboats or rowboats – rental services operate both in Stegna and its surroundings.

Year-round attractions

Seaside towns in winter and autumn are practically empty. This creates the feeling that when you walk along the beach, you are in an American movie set where it’s only you and no one else. This experience stays in memory for a long time. After all, there is nothing more beautiful than the sound of waves at sunset on an empty beach. Besides this magical emptiness, there are several additional attractions available in the town itself.

The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The historic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Stegna is a gem of sacred architecture. It impresses with its beauty and deep spiritual meaning. Located in a picturesque setting, it invites reflection and contemplation. Its interior hides rich artistic details and an atmosphere of peace, creating an ideal place for prayer and reflection.

The church was built between 1681 and 1683 on the foundations of an older Gothic temple. This fact makes it one of the significant attractions in the region, frequently visited by tourists. The church features unique paintings suspended from the ceiling and historic organs. Every year, the International Organ Festival also takes place here.

Bicycle paths

Bicycle paths in Stegna and the surrounding area offer unparalleled opportunities for active leisure throughout the year. Thanks to excellent infrastructure, cyclists can use routes of varying difficulty levels, suited to different skills and preferences.

The most popular is undoubtedly Eurovelo No. 10. It is part of an international route totaling nearly 9,000 km running around the Baltic Sea through 9 countries. In Poland, cyclists can admire views of beaches, forests, and historic towns. The route combines different types of surfaces and is well marked.

If you are coming to the seaside and plan active cycling holidays, we invite you to Bursztynowe Resort. Our facility is located right on the Eurovelo No. 10 route. We also offer bike rental services.

All routes are available in winter, but it is important to remember safety issues before the trip. Under appropriate conditions, rides on bicycle paths can be an exceptional way to discover the charm of the winter coastal landscape.

Narrow-gauge railway in Stegna

The Żuławy Narrow-Gauge Railway, part of the picturesque Żuławy Wiślane region, offers a unique combination of historic transportation with tourist attractions. Founded in 1891 for sugar transport needs, it quickly expanded into a 55.5 km network, adapting to mechanical traction. Stegna, a key point in the network, enables travel to Mikoszewo, Sztutowo, and Nowy Dwór Gdański, making it a hub for exploring the region by this mode of transport.

It is also worth mentioning that the railway can be rented for private requests. The vehicle also has a buffet car where you can enjoy hot coffee and tea or buy unique souvenirs.

For lovers of travel, history, and nature, the Żuławy Narrow-Gauge Railway offers an unforgettable experience that allows you to discover the charm and secrets of this picturesque region. It is a journey that transports you to another dimension of time and space and leaves unforgettable impressions in travelers' memories.

Summary

Stegna is an extraordinary oasis of relaxation, offering unforgettable attractions for every traveler. From beautiful beaches and active seal cruises to peaceful moments in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The corn maze, Rope Park, amber museum, and picturesque bicycle routes are just some of the attractions waiting to be discovered. Whether you desire active leisure or want to enjoy peace and contemplation, Stegna has much to offer. Discover the magic of this unique place and create unforgettable memories that will stay with you forever.
