The beach in Stegna is the perfect place for sunbathing and sea bathing enthusiasts. What should everyone know about it if they plan to spend their holiday in the picturesque Vistula Spit area? Here is a short guide containing a handful of the most important information.

Main Beach in Stegna

The main beach in Stegna is undoubtedly the biggest attraction of this charming resort. This beautiful sandy shore stretches for 14 km and attracts tourists like a magnet. It is as wide as 30 m and is located about 1500 m from the buildings situated along the town's main street. During the peak summer season, it can get quite crowded, although even then, you can find quieter spots conducive to relaxing with family.

The infrastructure around the beach is excellently developed. It provides everything necessary for a pleasant time by the water. You can park your car at one of the paid parking lots – forest or city parking where parking meters are installed. Of course, nothing prevents you from walking here – Stegna has no large distances to cover.

Nearby restaurants, cafes, fish fryeries, and bars offer various dishes and drinks to satisfy diverse culinary preferences. Beachgoers also have access to toilets and transport services such as taxis or golf carts.

If you wish to taste delicious cuisine in a seaside setting, we warmly invite you to the Sztormowa Restaurant in Stegna. Our head chef will happily treat you to his specialties.

Shopping can be done at the grocery store and numerous souvenir stalls. Thanks to attractions in Stegna for the youngest vacationers, such as trampolines or playgrounds, parents can easily organize time for their children. In the evening, it's worth taking a walk along the Spit and admiring the sunset – in such circumstances, the view of the beach is incredible.

As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that lying on the beach has health benefits because the air in Stegna is saturated with iodine particles. Moreover, this town is distinguished by very high sunshine, which will surely please lovers of both sunny beaches and water bathing.

Route from Stegna to the Beach

From Stegna itself, as in all seaside towns, to reach the beach, you have to head north. For those who do not know the way themselves, it is worth asking locals. They are always smiling and willing to help. You can reach the beach via Lipowa and Morska streets.

The beach in Stegna can be accessed by four entrances numbered: 66, 67, 68 (the central bathing point), and 69 – they lead through dunes and forest. Between entrances 68 and 69, there is a small fishing port – the fishing boats moored there often appear in holiday photos from this area. Entrances 66, 67, and 68 will soon be renovated, and an incline for strollers will be built at entrance 66. This will facilitate access to the beach for people with disabilities.

For travelers who regularly visit Stegna, entrance 72, leading to a sandy beach between Stegna and Jantar, is also well known. Although there is no gastronomic infrastructure or parking lot right next to this beach, in return, there is silence and a lack of crowds. Entrance 72 features a flat approach, so it poses no difficulties for cyclists. If someone likes to spend active time on two wheels, they will find a moment of respite on this beach.
